Intu at derby is a great mix of old and modern. If you enter the centre from the bus station side as using the park and ride is the best way into derby, you will come to a indoor market place with a good variety of stalls. As you walk through the market in to the new build you are greeted by a wide variety of high street names and venues. As well as the shops there's cafes, a cinema an I think I seen a theatre advertised.

Actually, this place is good for shoppers and people who have to come shopping but don't want to. They have a food court, a wide range of shops, Cafes and a place called The Den. In the Den, you can watch TV, play table tennis or football (tabletop) or just sit on bean bags playing on your console, while your family and friends shop away. It's usually VERY busy on weekends and most shops finish early on Sunday. The Kids Club is a great place for kids aged up to 7 to do fun activities like decorating and colouring. At Christmas, a lot of Christmas themed activities go on including meeting Santa. There is also a soft play, it's fairly small but has lots of kids toys, sensory toys and hideouts. Parents are also welcome to sit in the Parents Area of the soft play or go and play with their kids.

Spotless place. Massive choice of shops . Security staff everywhere so makes you feel safe. Please to do, and spend money on. Food court which charges reasonable prices for well known brands. Escalators to all levels.
